President Erdoğan travels to United Arab Emirates

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan travelled to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for an official visit.

President Erdoğan was welcomed at Dubai International Airport by UAE Minister of Economy Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, Türkiye's Ambassador to Abu Dhabi Tugay Tunçer, Dubai Consul General Onur Şaylan and other officials.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar, Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek, Minister of National Defence Yaşar Güler, Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca, Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır and Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat also travelled to the UAE with President Erdoğan.

President Erdoğan will attend the World Governments Summit, which will be held under the theme "Shaping Future Governments," as a guest of honour.

It is envisaged that President Erdoğan, who will deliver a main address at the summit, which will bring together state and government officials from various countries, international organisations, the private sector, academia, civil society, think tanks, media representatives, and business people, will hold bilateral meetings with his counterparts from the participating countries, particularly with President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan of the UAE, on the occasion of the summit.
