President Erdoğan travels to Senegal from DRC

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan concluded his meetings in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), the first stop on his African tour, and flew to Senegal.

President Erdoğan and President of the Democratic Republic of the Congo Felix Tshisekedi arrived at Kinshasa International Airport in the same vehicle, and President Tshisekedi bid President Erdoğan farewell.

President Erdoğan was accompanied to Senegal by Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Minister of Interior Süleyman Soylu, Minister of National Defence Hulusi Akar, Minister of Trade Mehmet Muş, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu, Minister of Youth and Sports Mehmet Muharrem Kasapoğlu, Presidency’s Director of Communications Fahrettin Altun and Presidential Spokesperson İbrahim Kalın and Defence Industries President İsmail Demir.

President Macky Sall will greet President Erdoğan in Dakar, Senegal’s capital, where he will attend the Türkiye-Senegal Business Forum.

A press conference will be held after President Erdoğan and President Sall’s private meeting at the Palace of the Republic and the signing of bilateral agreements.
