President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan departed for Berlin, the capital of Germany, at 13.20 as part of his one-day working visit.
President Erdoğan was seen off from Esenboğa Airport by Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz, Ankara Governor Vasip Şahin and other officials. Along with President Erdoğan, Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan, Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat, Director of Communications Fahrettin Altun, Head of the National Intelligence Organisation İbrahim Kalın and Chief Advisor to the President Ambassador Akif Çağatay Kılıç also went to Berlin.
Erdoğan to meet with his German counterpart
As part of his one-day visit, President Erdoğan will have a tête-à-tête and inter-delegation meeting with German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier in Berlin. President Erdoğan will be welcomed by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz at the Chancellery Building and will hold a joint press conference with Scholz after their tête-à-tête.
