President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has travelled to Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia, for an official visit.
İstanbul Governor Davut Gül and the AK Party İstanbul Provincial Chairman Abdullah Özdemir, along with other officials, saw off President Erdoğan at the Atatürk Airport State Guesthouse.
During his visit to Addis Ababa, President Erdoğan is scheduled to hold a one-on-one meeting and an inter-delegation meeting with Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali of Ethiopia. He will subsequently attend the signing ceremony of agreements and a joint press conference.
