President Erdogan to visit Russia on April 8

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will go to Russia on April 8 to take part in the Eighth Meeting of the High-Level Turkish-Russian Cooperation Council.

Related ministers and officials will also attend the Eighth Meeting of the High-Level Turkish-Russian Cooperation Council to be held under the chairmanship of President Erdogan and Russian President Vladimir Putin.

At the meeting during which Turkish-Russian bilateral relations will be taken up in all their dimensions and in a comprehensive way, views will be exchanged regarding the regional and international issues, including especially Syria. On this occasion, various agreements are expected to be signed.

Within the framework of the Council meeting, President Erdogan and Russian President Putin will also meet Turkish and Russian business people.

Together with a gala of the opera titled Troy to be staged by Ankara State Opera and Ballet, Moscow’s world-famous Bolshoi Theater will host the opening of the 2019 Culture and Tourism Year declared mutually in Turkey and the Russian Federation.
