President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan issued a message to mark the first anniversary of Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque's reopening to worship.
On the occasion of the first anniversary, President Erdoğan posted a video on his social media account that featured images from the first Friday prayer after 86 years.
Stating, "May the resurrection of Hagia Sophia, which is the symbol of the resurgence of our civilization sun, be auspicious once more.", President Erdoğan noted the following:
