President Erdoğan: The Turkic Council has become a symbol of brotherhood, solidarity and cooperation

Stating that the Turkic Council became a symbol of brotherhood, solidarity and cooperation, in the video message he sent to the 6^th Meeting of the Ministers of Education of the Turkic Council and the 4^th Scientific Council Meeting of the International Turkic Academy held under the chairmanship of Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer and Secretary-General of the Turkic Council Baghdad Amreyev, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said, "I thank you for your valuable contributions to our educational cause."

Wishing that the meeting, which began in Istanbul, hosted by the Ministry of National Education, would be auspicious for the education community and the Turkic world, President Erdoğan said:

"This year, as the Turkic world, we are marking the 12^th anniversary of the establishment of the Turkic Council. Over the past 12 years, our Council has become a symbol of the brotherhood, solidarity and cooperation among us. Contacts at various levels within the body of the Council have led to the formation of new partnerships and the exchange of experiences in all fields. Again, during this process, the Turkic Council completed its institutionalisation and strengthened its power, reputation, and effectiveness with new participations. The 8^th Summit, which will take place in Istanbul on November 12, 2021, and will be hosted by our country, will, inshallah, mark a watershed moment in the Council's history. I am confident that the meeting of our education ministers as part of the Summit will guide us in our efforts to deliver a higher-quality education to our youth, who are the guarantee of our future. On the occasion of the meeting, I 'welcome' you, our guests, who have come to Türkiye from different corners of lands dear to our hearts and express my sincere thanks to each of you individually for your valuable contributions to our educational cause. I wish the 6^th Meeting of the Ministers of Education of the Turkic Council success, as well as pleasure, prosperity, and well-being to all my brothers and sisters in the Turkic World."
