President Erdoğan talks to two families whose children were kidnapped by the terrorist organization PKK

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan talked to the two families whose children were kidnapped by the terrorist organization PKK in Ağrı.

President Erdoğan talked to the family of Hayal Demir, who was kidnapped in 2014 by the terrorist organization PKK in Ağrı, via video conference.

In the video conference held with the means of Ağrı Mayor Savcı Sayan, Erdoğan wished a blessed month of Ramadan to the couple, Süheyla-Mehmet Demir and other family elders.

The Mother, Süheyla Demir told Erdoğan, during the conversation with the family, that her child was kidnapped at the age of 16.

President Erdoğan said, “Your difficulty is, of course, a very different one. I wish to God that you will be able to reunite with your child as soon as possible,” to the family members who expressed their wish to overcome the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic.

Erdoğan told the family, who wanted their daughter to return to their home, “Both our soldiers and the police are exerting great efforts. Thank goodness, some of them returned to their families, but there are others we still expect to return. I hope we will achieve this, too.”

The grandmother Nazire Demir told Erdoğan in Kurdish, “I love you very much. I hope you will save my grandchild,” and Erdoğan responded, “Hopefully. Your grandchild is also our daughter.”

President Erdoğan also talked to the family of Çiğdem Kaya over the phone, who was kidnapped by the terrorist organization PKK in 2015.

The father Yasin Kaya, whose child was kidnapped at the age of 17, conveyed his requests to Erdoğan.
