President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan talked to the family of Cafer Ceylan, who has been rescued from PKK, and expressed his sincere sympathy.
President Erdoğan talked over the phone with parents of Cafer Ceylan, born in 2000 and kidnapped by PKK terrorist organization in 2015, and expressed his sympathy to mother Hatice Ceylan and father Abdulkadir Ceylan.
Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu accompanied Erdoğan as he talked to Hatice Ceylan over the phone. Hatice Ceylan had previously joined sit-in protests outside the Provincial Office of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) staged by mothers from Diyarbakır whose children have been abducted to the mountains.
Expressing his sincere sympathy to father Abdülkadir Ceylan, Erdoğan said: "I express my sincere sympathy and congratulations. Hopefully, your son will be with you in the morning. May God never again test you with such challenges.”
Cafer Ceylan, who was rescued from PKK terrorist organization, had been abducted to the mountains by the organization four years ago when he was 15 from Kayapınar district of Diyarbakır.
