As President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan headed to the TurkeviCentre (Turkish House) following his address at the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA79), he answered questions from journalists.
When asked about the remarks he delivered during his UN address, President Erdoğan responded, "I maintain my statements. We do not endorse any of these issues, especially the concept of genderlessness, and we urge everyone to collectively uphold the sanctity of family values in opposition to these matters. Let us unite. In this way, let us honour our sacred family values."
In response to the question, "Before your address, Biden declared, 'We do not want a second Gaza.' (Najib) Mikati was also unable to attend. You also brought up Lebanon in your speech. However, we can see that the United States continues to provide covert support to Israel. "How do you evaluate this situation?" President Erdoğan stated, "The US should take a clear stance here and take its place against Israel, rather than on its side."
When a journalist from the US enquired about the F-35 program, President Erdoğan responded, "There is no development at the moment."
