President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke by phone with Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said of Oman.
The leaders discussed regional and global issues as well as the Türkiye-Oman bilateral relations.
During the call, President Erdoğan stated that the attacks against Iran and Iran’s subsequent retaliation against brotherly countries in the region have confronted our region with an unprecedented security crisis, and that we find the attacks targeting Oman unacceptable.
President Erdoğan noted that, as Türkiye, we have not refrained from diplomatic initiatives, including mediation, even under the current circumstances, and that these efforts will continue.
President Erdoğan also stated that the Netanyahu Government’s obstruction of access to Al-Aqsa Mosque can never be accepted, that Gaza needs humanitarian aid, and that the work of the Board of Peace should continue with the goal of a two-state solution.
