"This fight, which began in 2004 with 11 Cancer Early Diagnosis, Screening and Training Centres, is still ongoing with 331 centres, with at least one in each province. We have 42 mobile cancer screening units at the disposal of our citizens living in rural areas. In 2020 and 2021, 3.5 million and 4.5 million cancer screenings were performed, respectively. We have activated the screening services by putting the Cancer Appointment System into use. Türkiye will continue to offer all cancer treatment services to its citizens at no cost."
