President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan shared on social media a video of himself driving the C-SUV, the first smart vehicle to come off the mass production band of Togg, one of Türkiye’s vision projects.
In a post on his social media account, President Erdoğan said, "Here is the factory, here is the first smart vehicle rolled off the band, here is the first spark of the new century of our Republic… Here is the Century of Türkiye."
Mehmet Gürcan Karakaş, Togg CEO, who was in the vehicle that President Erdoğan was driving, briefed President Erdoğan on the vehicle.
First Lady Emine Erdoğan was also in the vehicle, and Turkish classical music accompanied the Erdoğan couple along the way.
President Erdoğan drove the vehicle to the opening ceremony of TOGG Gemlik Campus, where Togg will be mass produced.
