President Erdoğan: "We are determined to realise our vision of the Century of Türkiye in the areas of efficiency and technology, which are becoming increasingly significant in the world of the future."
A message from President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan was read at the start of the "5th Efficiency and Technology Fair," which was organised by Ankara Bilim University at the Ankara Chamber of Commerce (ATO) Congresium.
President Erdoğan stated in the message that Türkiye has been taking firm steps toward becoming a country that not only consumes but also designs, plans, and produces technology, and that to that end, they will continue to provide incentives and support in all fields for the creation of a nationwide R&D and technology ecosystem.
President Erdoğan emphasised that in the last 20 years, they have brought 96 technoparks, 316 design centres, 1,249 R&D centres, and other technology investments to the country and that they provide platforms for children and youth to showcase their potential through TEKNOFEST and similar events.
President Erdoğan noted that the try-it-do-it workshops provided a means for children to explore their technological curiosities and interests, saying:
"We are now in a position to talk about the Century of Türkiye as a result of our National Technology Move, which we persist regardless of the circumstances. We are determined to realise our vision of the Century of Türkiye in the areas of efficiency and technology, which are becoming increasingly significant in the world of the future. God willing, we shall achieve this as a collective of 85 million citizens, along with the public and private sectors, universities, and students, as we have done in the past two decades."
In his message, President Erdoğan also expressed gratitude to all who helped put the fair together.
