President Erdoğan returns home

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan arrived in Istanbul after visiting Sochi, Russia, at the invitation of President Vladimir Putin of Russia.

Among those who greeted President Erdoğan at Istanbul Airport were Vice President Fuat Oktay, Governor of Istanbul Ali Yerlikaya, and Justice and Development (AK) Party Istanbul Provincial Chairman Osman Nuri Kabaktepe, as well as other officials.

President Erdoğan was joined on the flight returning to Türkiye by Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu,  Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Fatih Dönmez, Minister of Treasury and Finance Nureddin Nebati, Minister of National Defence Hulusi Akar, Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Vahit Kirişçi, Minister of Trade Mehmet Muş, Director of the MİT (Turkish National Intelligence Organisation) Hakan Fidan, Presidency’s Director of Communications Fahrettin Altun, Presidential Spokesperson İbrahim Kalın, and President of Defence Industries İsmail Demir.
