President Erdoğan returns home

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has returned home upon concluding his official visit to Ukraine at the invitation of President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine.

The plane with President Erdoğan and his accompanying delegate on board departed from Rzeszów, Poland, and landed at Atatürk Airport at 23:45.

President Erdoğan was greeted by Vice President Fuat Oktay, Governor of Istanbul Ali Yerlikaya, and Justice and Development (AK) Party Istanbul Provincial Chairman Osman Nuri Kabaktepe at the airport.

President Erdoğan was joined on the flight returning to Istanbul by Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Fatih Dönmez, Minister of National Defence Hulusi Akar, Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Vahit Kirişçi, Minister of Trade Mehmet Muş, Director of the National Intelligence Service Hakan Fidan, Presidency’s Director of Communications Fahrettin Altun, Presidential Spokesperson İbrahim Kalın, and President of Defence Industries İsmail Demir, AK Party Deputy Chairman and Spokesperson Ömer Çelik and General Manager of Baykar Technology Company Haluk Bayraktar.
