President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who visited Azerbaijan after the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) following his election as President, returned home.
President Erdoğan departed from Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, for Türkiye after his talks in Azerbaijan. President Erdoğan was bid farewell by President İlham Aliyev of Azerbaijan at Heydar Aliyev International Airport.
President Erdoğan, who arrived at Esenboğa Airport at 18:18, was welcomed by Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz, Ankara Governor Vasip Şahin, and other officials.
In addition to President Erdoğan and First Lady Emine Erdoğan, Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar, Minister of National Defence Yaşar Güler, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, AK Party Deputy Chairman and Spokesperson Ömer Çelik, Presidency's Director of Communications Fahrettin Altun, Director of the Turkish National Intelligence Organisation İbrahim Kalın, President of Defence Industry Agency Haluk Görgün, and Chief Advisor to the President Akif Çağatay Kılıç also arrived in Ankara.
