President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan arrived in Istanbul after completing his visit to the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
President Erdoğan was welcomed at Atatürk Airport by Istanbul Governor Davut Gül, AK Party Istanbul Provincial Chairman Osman Nuri Kabaktepe and other officials.
Along with President Erdoğan, First Lady Emine Erdoğan, Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar, Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat, Minister of Environment, Urbanisation and Climate Change Mehmet Özhaseki, Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır, Director of National Intelligence Organisation (MIT) İbrahim Kalın, Presidency's Director of Communications Fahrettin Altun, Chief Advisor to the President Ambassador Akif Çağatay Kılıç, AK Party Deputy Chairman Binali Yıldırım, AK Party Spokesperson Ömer Çelik and some officials also returned Türkiye.
After being welcomed, President Erdoğan and First Lady Emine Erdoğan left the airport.
