President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has returned home following the NATO Heads of State and Government Summit held in the Spanish capital Madrid.
President Erdoğan was greeted by Vice President Fuat Oktay, Governor of Istanbul Ali Yerlikaya, AK Party Istanbul Provincial Chairman Osman Nuri Kabaktepe, as well as other officials.
Among those who arrived in Istanbul with President Erdoğan and First Lady Emine Erdoğan were Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Minister of National Defence Hulusi Akar, Presidency’s Director of Communications Fahrettin Altun, Director of the MİT (National Intelligence Organisation) Hakan Fidan, Presidential Spokesperson İbrahim Kalın, AK Party Rize Deputy and Head of the Turkish Delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly Osman Aşkın Bak.
