President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan departed for Türkiye after concluding his engagements in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan.
At Islamabad’s Nur Khan Air Base, President Erdoğan was seen off by Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif of Pakistan, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Minister of Defence Khawaja Asif, Ambassador of Türkiye to Islamabad İrfan Neziroğlu and his spouse Emine Neziroğlu, First Counselor of the Turkish Embassy in Islamabad Berk Ece, and Military Attaché Major General Umut Önol.
Having completed his visit to Islamabad, the final stop of his South Asia tour, President Erdoğan returned to Türkiye and arrived at Atatürk Airport at 01:45.
Alongside President Erdoğan, First Lady Emine Erdoğan, Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar, Minister of National Defence Yaşar Güler, Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır, Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı, Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat, Secretary of Turkish Defence Industries Haluk Görgün, Chairman of the Council of Elders of the Organisation of Turkic States Binali Yıldırım, Presidency’s Head of Communications Fahrettin Altun, Chief of Cabinet to the President Hasan Doğan, and Chief Advisor to the President on Foreign Policy and Security Akif Çağatay Kılıç also arrived in Istanbul.
