President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who was in Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania, for the NATO Heads of State and Government Summit, arrived in Ankara after the summit ended.
President Erdoğan and First Lady Emine Erdoğan were bid farewell from Vilnius Airport by Türkiye's Ambassador to Vilnius Görkem Barış Tantekin, Türkiye’s Permanent Representative to NATO Ambassador Zeki Levent Gümrükçü, Riga Military Attaché Ömer Uluç, and Lithuanian officials.
President Erdoğan arrived in Ankara accompanied by First Lady Emine Erdoğan, Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan, Minister of National Defence Yaşar Güler, Director of the National Intelligence Organisation İbrahim Kalın, and the Presidency's Director of Communications Fahrettin Altun.
President Erdoğan was welcomed at Esenboğa Airport by Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz, Minister of Labour and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, and Governor of Ankara Vasip Şahin.
