President Erdoğan returns home

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has returned home following his attendance at the 17th summit of the Economic Cooperation Organisation (ECO) in Azerbaijan, where he also engaged in bilateral talks.

President Erdoğan was seen off at Fuzuli International Airport by Minister of Science and Education of Azerbaijan Emin Amrullayev; President Ilham Aliyev's Special Representative for the Aghdam, Fuzuli, and Khojavand districts, Emin Huseynov; Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Ankara Rashad Mammadov; Türkiye's Ambassador to Baku Birol Akgün; and embassy staff.

Upon his arrival at the Atatürk Airport State Guesthouse after his flight, President Erdoğan was welcomed by İstanbul Governor Davut Gül and the AK Party İstanbul Provincial Chairman Abdullah Özdemir, along with other officials.

Arriving in İstanbul with President Erdoğan were Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş; Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan; Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu; Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat; the Chairman of the Council of Elders of the Organisation of Turkic States, Binali Yıldırım; AK Party Deputy Chairman and Head of Relations with Turkic States, Kürşad Zorlu; AK Party Deputy Chairs Halit Yerebakan and Sevilay Tuncer; the Presidency's Head of Communications, Fahrettin Altun; and Chief Advisor to the President on Foreign Policy and Security, Akif Çağatay Kılıç.
