President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan received Palestinian siblings Rahaf and Mohammed Khalil Salman, who were wounded in Gaza and went through treatment in Türkiye.
Rahaf, an 11-year-old Palestinian girl, and her 13-year-old brother, Mohammed Khalil, were wounded on August 6, 2022, by shrapnel from an Israeli missile that fell on Jabalia in the northern Gaza Strip.
The Palestinian siblings, who were flown to Türkiye by the Ministry of Health's ambulance plane on President Erdogan's instructions on August 18, 2022, went through treatment in Ankara City Hospital.
