President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan received Prime Minister Masrour Barzani of the Iraqi Kurdish Regional Government (IKRG) at the Presidential Complex.
The meeting addressed relations with the IKRG and regional issues.
Expressing that, particularly in light of the developments in Syria, Türkiye attaches importance to the preservation of Iraq's stability and security as well as making efforts to prevent developments in Syria from leading to further instabilities in the region; President Erdoğan stated that there is no room for the terrorist organizations or affiliated elements in the future of the new Syria.
President Erdoğan also stressed the need to implement projects, especially the Development Road, to improve the region's stability and prosperity.
