President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke by phone with Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi of Japan.
The leaders addressed the Türkiye-Japan bilateral relations as well as regional and global issues.
During the call, President Erdoğan said that we will continue to make efforts to enhance relations between Türkiye and Japan in all the areas, particularly in defense industry, investments and trade.
President Erdoğan stated that the only way to resolve the conflict between Iran and the U.S. is through negotiations, and that we, as Türkiye, support diplomatic efforts for lasting peace and stability.
President Erdoğan once again conveyed his condolences to Japanese Prime Minister Takaichi for those who lost their lives in the earthquake that struck Kumamoto last month.
