President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke by phone with Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre of Norway.
The call addressed the Türkiye-Norway relations, the Israeli massacres in the Palestinian territories, notably Gaza, as well as regional and global matters.
President Erdoğan noted the need to increase efforts for Israel's reckless attacks, which disregard international law, to be stopped, and for lasting peace in the region.
Stating that Norway's decision to recognize Palestine has contributed to sustainable peace, calm and justice in the region and to the vision for a two-state solution, President Erdoğan congratulated the Norwegian government for their felicitous step and their determined conduct throughout the process.
