President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan had a phone conversation with Prime Minister Scott Morrison of Australia.
Steps aimed at strengthening Turkey-Australia relations as well as the issue of cooperation on international platforms were discussed during the conversation, which took place upon Australian Prime Minister Morrison’s request.
President Erdoğan stated that Turkey considered Australia as an important partner in the Asia-Pacific region and as a friendly country with a similar perspective on global matters.
