President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke by phone with Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani of Iraq.
The leaders discussed the bilateral relations between Türkiye and Iraq as well as regional and global matters.
Noting that Türkiye and Iraq will continue to take steps to enhance the relations in numerous spheres, trade in particular, President Erdoğan stated that it is in both countries' interest to increase cooperation in the fight against terror.
