The call addressed Sweden’s NATO membership process, the fight against terror and the Türkiye-Sweden relations as well as regional and global issues.
President Erdoğan expressed Türkiye’s belief that Sweden would fulfill its commitments arising from the trilateral memorandum in line with the spirit of alliance following the finalization of its accession to NATO. Stressing the need for the two countries to implement the Security Cooperation Mechanism, President Erdoğan underlined that Sweden must lend the necessary support to Türkiye in the fight against terror.
