President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke by phone with Prime Minister Simon Harris of Ireland.
The call addressed the Türkiye-Ireland relations, Israel's systematic attacks in Palestine, aid activities for Gaza as well as regional and global matters.
Voicing his appreciation over Ireland's recognition of Palestine as a state, President Erdoğan stated that this move will add strength to the efforts for a two state solution and the establishment of peace and justice in the region.
Pointing to the need, in order for a just and lasting solution, for steps that will force Israel to obey the international law, President Erdoğan said that they all should keep the peace vision alive.
