President Erdoğan thanked Prime Minister Kishida for congratulating him on his re-election.
Reminding that 2023 marks the 10th anniversary of the Türkiye-Japan strategic partnership, and next year the centenary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations between the two countries, President Erdoğan stressed that he wants the bilateral cooperation to be enhanced in a wide range of areas such as economy, energy, agriculture, education, defense, disaster management, science and technology.
Voicing his wish that the support and solidarity displayed by Japan in the face of the Kahramanmaraş earthquake, the disaster of the century, will continue, President Erdoğan expressed his belief that Japan will make more tangible contributions to Türkiye’s anti-terror fight.
President Erdoğan invited Prime Minister Kishida to Türkiye at the call as well.
