President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke by phone with Prime Minister-elect Péter Magyar of Hungary.
The leaders discussed the future of the Türkiye-Hungary bilateral relations, as well as regional and global matters.
Noting that the Türkiye-Hungary relations draw strength from a shared history and culture, President Erdoğan expressed his belief that in the new period the two countries will further expand their cooperation both at the bilateral level and at international platforms.
Highlighting his wish to further elevate the enhanced strategic cooperation between Türkiye and Hungary, President Erdoğan stressed that the two countries’ NATO alliance contributes to regional and global peace.
During the call, President Erdoğan also congratulated Prime Minister-elect Magyar on his electoral victory.
