President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke by phone with Prime Minister Ali Faleh al-Zaidi of Iraq.
The call addressed the Türkiye-Iraq bilateral relations as well as regional and global matters.
Expressing Türkiye’s desire to further its relations with Iraq in the new period, President Erdoğan drew attention to the huge potential for cooperation particularly in energy, defense industry and transportation.
President Erdoğan also invited Iraqi Prime Minister al-Zaidi to Türkiye for comprehensive consultations.
