President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke by phone with President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine
The call addressed Türkiye-Ukraine relations and regional issues.
President Erdoğan thanked his Ukrainian counterpart for the immediate and comprehensive support he had provided to Türkiye’s fight against the forest fires.
Congratulating President Zelensky on the 30th anniversary of Ukraine’s independence, President Erdoğan stressed that the strategic cooperation with Ukraine would continue to be enhanced from now on as well in every field, including security, defence industry, tourism and trade.
