The call addressed the course of the bilateral relations between Türkiye and Indonesia.
Expressing his wish for the presidential and general elections held in Indonesia to be auspicious for the Indonesian people, President Erdoğan stated that he expects the momentum achieved with President Widodo in the bilateral relations to be maintained with his successor, Mr. Subianto, as well.
President Erdoğan stressed that efforts should be increased to overcome the global challenges facing the Islamic world, particularly on the Palestinian cause.
The two leaders also exchanged Eid al-Fitr greetings during the call.
