President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke by phone with President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine. The call addressed the latest developments in the Russia-Ukraine war and issues concerning the negotiation process.
President Erdoğan stated that the injured and civilians must definitely be evacuated from Mariupol where the situation was getting more and more saddening each passing day.
President Erdoğan said Türkiye stood ready to provide any help within its means and offer any support, including mediation, during the negotiation process, and that Türkiye had a positive view on the issue of guarantorship in principle.
