President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke by phone with President Umaro Sissoco Embalo of Guinea-Bissau.
The call addressed steps that will enhance the Türkiye- Guinea-Bissau relations and regional matters.
The two leaders agreed on improving trade and economic relations as well as cooperation on the spheres of military and defense industry.
President Erdoğan expressed his happiness over the allocation of land for a school to be built by Türkiye Maarif Foundation in Guinea-Bissau.
President Erdoğan said that he follows with appreciation the efforts by President Umaro Sissoco Embalo of Guinea-Bissau, who is also the Chairman of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), for the establishment of stability and peace in the region.
