President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke by phone with President Pedro Sánchez of the Government of Spain.
The call addressed relations between Türkiye and Spain, regional and global matters as well as Israel's attacks on Gaza.
During the call, President Erdoğan stated that Israel's massacres in Palestine must be stopped as soon as possible and Israel must be forced to comply with international law.
Expressing his appreciation of Spain's decision to recognize Palestine as a state, President Erdoğan also voiced his belief that this step will strengthen both the establishment of peace and justice in the region and the two-state solution efforts.
