President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke by phone with President Vladimir Putin of the Russian Federation.
The call addressed the Türkiye-Russia bilateral relations as well as regional and global issues.
Stressing the importance of the works aimed at ensuring the safety of navigation in the Black Sea, President Erdoğan stated that Türkiye stands ready to contribute to the efforts to start direct contacts between Russia and Ukraine.
Wishing a happy birthday to the Russian President, President Erdoğan also congratulated Mr. Putin on his party’s success in the State Duma elections.
