President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke by phone with Russian President Putin.
During the talk, the steps aimed at strengthening Turkey-Russia relations were discussed. Developments on Nagorno-Karabakh and the Turkish-Russian joint centre for monitoring and inspecting the ceasefire were reviewed.
President Erdoğan stated that Turkey would provide the necessary contributions and support in the new era opened for regional stability and peace during the conversation.
Stating that they want to create the conditions that will enable Azerbaijanis and Armenians to cohabit in Nagorno-Karabakh without any need for peacekeeping or observation activities, President Erdoğan said that once this happened, they would again show the entire world the constructive results of the Turkish-Russian partnership.
