President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held a phone call with President Klaus Iohannis of Romania. The call addressed the latest developments in the Russia-Ukraine war.
President Erdoğan stated that while Türkiye had been exerting intensive efforts in order for peace to be ensured between Russia and Ukraine, it was delivering humanitarian aid to Ukraine as well as the neighboring countries including Romania, which were faced with refugee flow.
President Erdoğan and President Iohannis agreed on enhancing cooperation and coordination in the management of the forced migration caused by the war as well as measures with regard to the repercussions of this process on various sectors.
