President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke by phone with President Isaac Herzog of Israel.
The call, which took place yesterday evening, addressed the Türkiye-Israel relations.
President Herzog extended his congratulations on Ramadan, and President Erdoğan congratulated the Jewish people on Passover which will be celebrated in April.
President Erdoğan thanked President Herzog for his solidarity and support in the wake of the earthquakes, and stated that they maintain their determination to strengthen relations between Türkiye and Israel.
Voicing his deep concern about the rising attacks and acts of violence in the West Bank as the holy month of Ramadan approaches, President Erdoğan highlighted the importance of not allowing provocations and threats against the historical status and spirituality of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
President Erdoğan thanked President Herzog for his efforts so far to preserve calm and the status quo.
