President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke by phone with Mali’s transitional President Assimi Goita.
The call addressed the Türkiye-Mali relations and regional issues.
President Erdoğan stated that Türkiye would maintain its support for the political transition in Mali.
President Erdoğan stressed that Türkiye continued to stand with Mali in its fight against terror. President Erdoğan added that Mali, for its part, should lend support to Türkiye’s fight against terror and put an end to the activities of the Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETO) in Mali.
Expressing Türkiye’s pleasure to contribute to Mali’s development, President Erdoğan noted that steps would be taken to enhance the economic and trade relations between the two countries.
