President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held a phone conversation with President Ashraf Ghani of Afghanistan.
The two leaders exchanged Eid al-Fitr greetings and discussed bilateral relations as well as regional developments during the call.
President Erdoğan underlined the importance of acting together in the works Türkiye had been carrying out at all relevant platforms in order for the international community to not keep silent in the face of Israel’s brutal attacks against the Palestinians.
President Erdoğan further stressed that Türkiye would continue to stand by Afghanistan during this critical period, as it always has.
