President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, before his departure to Istanbul, presented a "Turquoise card" to Giovanni Guidetti, the coach of the Turkish National Women's Volleyball Team, at the Esenboğa Airport Grand Honour Hall (Foreign Guest Mansion). This card grants Guidetti the right to work and reside indefinitely.
President Erdoğan presented Guidetti with a Turquoise card at the reception, which was attended by Minister of Youth and Sports Mehmet Muharrem Kasapoğlu and Minister of Labour and Social Security Vedat Bilgin.
Privileges of "Turquoise Card"
Turquoise Card was developed to provide a competitive advantage to the country in the global arena by making Türkiye attractive in terms of a highly qualified workforce. It was designed for a highly qualified workforce that contributes or is anticipated to contribute to the country.
"Turquoise Card" grants its holder the right to work and reside in Türkiye indefinitely, the right to work independently or for an employer in Türkiye, the right to multiple entries into and exits from Türkiye, and all the rights granted by a long-term residence permit, as well as the right to reside for the holder’s spouse and children.
