President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke by phone with Prime Minister Rishi Sunak of the United Kingdom.
The call addressed the current situation in the Israel-Palestine conflict, policies that should be followed in order to restore peace in the region and urgent measures for the resolution of the severe humanitarian crises.
Noting that the international community, the Western countries in particular, should effectively object to the human rights violations in Gaza, President Erdoğan stated that it is important to remember and deliver the unfulfilled promises made to Palestine over the years instead of taking provocative steps that deepen the crisis.
