President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke by phone with Prime Minister Rob Jetten of the Netherlands.
The leaders discussed the Türkiye-Netherlands bilateral relations as well as regional and global issues.
Congratulating Mr. Jetten on his new post, President Erdoğan said that Türkiye aims to strengthen the cooperation and dialogue with the Netherlands in the new period as well.
Stating that Türkiye has been carrying out intensive works to end the conflicts in the region, President Erdoğan noted that especially the geopolitical developments have shown that the Türkiye-European Union relations should be addressed within the framework of a more inclusive, institutional and multidimensional partnership.
Also drawing attention to the developments in Gaza and the West Bank, President Erdoğan added that the Netherlands’ support to the efforts aimed at establishing lasting peace in the region is important.
