Following his visit to African countries, President Erdoğan shared a post on his Twitter account referring to the relations with the continent's countries.
In his post, which also included an infographic, President Erdoğan said, "Our objective is to win, develop, flourish, and walk the path together with Africa".
According to the infographic, business councils were established with 45 African countries, $6 billion in direct investment was made in the continent, and $8.7 billion in development aid was granted to African countries.
It was noted in the post that Turkish Airlines operated flights to 41 destinations in 33 countries in Africa, adding that iron-steel, machinery, motor vehicles were exported to Africa the most, while gold, mineral fuels and oils, and plastics were imported.
On the other hand, it was indicated that trade and economic cooperation agreements with 48 countries, agreements on reciprocal promotion and protection of investments with 32 countries, and agreements for the avoidance of double taxation with 16 countries had all been signed so far in order to strengthen the contractual infrastructure with African countries.
