President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who is in Astana for the 24th Summit of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, met with Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani of Qatar.
The meeting addressed bilateral relations between Türkiye and Qatar, Israel's attacks on Palestine, the Israeli threat to Lebanon as well as regional and global issues.
Stating that the spread of Israel's aggression in the region is dangerous, President Erdoğan expressed that the international community, particularly the Islamic world, must take immediate steps and work together to prevent this and to stop Israel.
Emphasizing that it is important to boost efforts to resolve the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and to ensure uninterrupted delivery of aid to the region, President Erdoğan added that Türkiye continues to increase its efforts in this regard.
