President Erdoğan meets with President Tokayev of Kazakhstan

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who is in Baku for the World Leaders Climate Action Summit of the 29th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), met with President Kassym-Jomart K. Tokayev of Kazakhstan.

The meeting addressed bilateral relations between Türkiye and Kazakhstan, as well as regional and global issues.

President Erdoğan stated that, with the steps to be taken in the upcoming period, they aim to deepen cooperation between Türkiye and Kazakhstan in the fields of defense industry, energy, agriculture, education, and culture and that there will be sustained efforts aimed at advancing the relationship between the two countries in all areas.

President Erdoğan emphasized the significance of the Turkic World maintaining its firm stance in the face of Israel's attacks on Palestine and Lebanon.
